After 20 years of providing Pilates for Forrest Hill Physiotherapy patients, we are excited to open
My Pilates Place to the wider community.
Our focus on post-rehabilition, injury prevention and management of chronic injuries, allows us to individualise programs to suit the specific needs of each client.
We are happy to liaise closely with allied health referrers, e.g. physio or doctor, so that your program is safe, appropriate and meets your health goals.
Pilates for everyone
Pilates can be appropriate for all ages and abilities as it is endlessly adaptable to meet a wide variety of needs.
Whatever your goals, we can tailor your sessions to specifically address them.
We have a strong emphasis on self-management, including home program provision and encouraging you to take responsibility for your own well-being.

Individual Sessions
One-on-one sessions are essential in order to teach the fundamental principles of Pilates and to gain a better understanding of improved posture, functional movement, strength and mobility.
This process is an important part of building the right foundation in order to get the best value from your Pilates experience.
Group Classes
Once several individual sessions have been completed, group classes may be of interest.
These are run circuit style using all of the traditional Pilates equipment.

- Trapeze Table
- Combo Chairs
- Ladder Barrel
- Matwork
Participants follow individual programs and work at their own pace with their own prescribed exercises.
